Lower Overall Cost

Billable hours included in our monthly retainers cost 30% less than the equivalent rate if we were hired on an ad-hoc basis. Furthermore, project work performed in addition to any monthly retainer is billed at the same lower rate. Because our services are so comprehensive and diverse, we can even reduce the size of your in-house team to save you even more money.

Routine Fixes & Security

Whether Shopify have released a new feature that requires some code changes or one of your installed apps stops working, we are on hand to make those fixes exactly when needed. You have the reassurance that our team is at your disposal should any issues arise to get you transacting again as quickly as possible.

We know from our own D2C experiences that cashflow is king, which is why we're always happy to help spread the cost of larger projects so that your capital can be put to good use within the business. Retainer clients have the option to spread project work payments (such as new site builds, email sequences or SEO) over the duration of their retainer contract interest free.

Because our team has less downtime and a more predictable monthly workload, we are able to charge less for work that is done on retainer. We think it's great! Our retainer clients have it all. Guaranteed capacity, higher priority support, and discounted rates.
Of course, we are more than happy to provide support on an ad-hoc basis, it would however, need to be booked in advance according to our current availability and charged at our standard hourly rates. Larger projects and site builds are quoted on an ad-hoc, fixed project basis however retainer clients can take advantage of their preferential rates.
Depending on the size and scope of the retainer package we work on a minimum term of 12 or 18 months, at which point the scope of the retainer can be altered and renewed appropriately.
All our clients have at least two points of contact who they can call anytime during office hours (24/7 if on a full emergency cover plan), we also setup each client with a group messaging space which can be used for support requests of throwing ideas around at any time, day or night.
The scope or hourly commitment of your retainer can be increased at any time within your contract period, however it cannot be reduced until your next renewal.
We never want to short change anyone, so the chances are you might have some support hours unused and banked up from previous months, if not, don't worry - give us a call and we'll always find some additional hours to give the support you need.
